After a very successful year in 2008, with 4 Grand Championships, a total of 11 First Place Trophies and 28 Top 10 finishes in individual Categories, Team Diva Q has already completed 5 competitions in the USA and Canada in 2009. The latest accomplishment was receiving 3rd place trophies in Chicken and Ribs at the Boston Hills BBQ Festival in Boston, New York, competing against several top USA and Canadian teams, including the current KCBS points leader and last year’s American Royal Reverse Grand Champion.
Check out the Events Calendar for the remaining Competitions that Team Diva Q is tentatively scheduled to compete in 2009, as well as other appearances, demos and classes.
Diva Q has recently been covered by the Daily Dish Blog of Toronto Life Magazine, the Toronto Sun and the Niagara Review.
The Rib Cooking Class held on May 30, 2008, in Barrie, Ontario was a great success. Another class may be scheduled for later this summer.

This class is suitable for both Backyard BBQ’ers and Competitive Teams.
