Diva Q - Home

During 2009, Diva Q travelled all over North America, from Texas to Alberta and everywhere in between competing at various events. During the year, Team Diva Q earned a Grand Championship, 2 Reserve Grand Championships, a total of 8 Top 5 Overall Finishes, 8 First Place Trophies and 34 Top 10 Finishes in individual Categories.

Diva Q is the 2009 Canada Southern BBQ Champion and by being so, earned an invite to participate in the prestigious 2010 American Royal Invitational BBQ Competition in Kansas City, the world's largest, involving 500 competing teams.

In the Kansas City BBQ Society (KCBS) national rankings, Diva Q is currently the highest ranked Canadian team – a position they have held for the past 2 years. Also, Diva Q is the only Canadian team to win 2 BBQ Championships on American soil as well as the only Canadian team to receive a total of 3 perfect (180) scores in a KCBS competition.

Diva Q appeared on Canada AM on October 8, 2009 to demonstrate how to cook a BBQ (smoked) Turkey and a complete Thanksgiving meal using a pellet smoker/grill, a charcoal grill and a gas grill.
